MHHE Summer Workshop Art Gallery

Debuted in 2007, the Museum of History and Holocaust Education holds an annual Summer Workshop on World War II and the Holocaust at Kennesaw State University for rising high school juniors and seniors. They are given an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of these important subjects in a university setting. The program is designed to challenge them to think about the world in new and different ways.
Experienced educators, museum professionals, college faculty, Holocaust survivors and World War II veterans present compelling lectures, discussions, and creative projects throughout the workshop.
Every year, during the Summer Workshop, high school students create reflective art pieces over the course of the three days they spend together at the Museum of History and Holocaust Education.
This digital gallery showcases work from the past twelve summer workshops from 2007 -2019. It will also serve as a place to showcase artwork from future summer workshops following the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
